Meachum Clarke: Building Music with our Community

Meachum L. Clarke is a talented artist who has been creating music since the age of 5. As a songwriter, author, and producer, the people he meets influence what he makes his mission in life… encouraging other creatives like himself.

I am most inspired by people. I love how people gravitate to music, to art, to technology, to each other, to nature.

In the Mix Interview

Charlee Guillaume, a multimedia designer with Mix Theory Studios, interviewed Meachum for the “In the Mix” video series as part of the Grand Opening events and the launch of MTSJAX.fm on February 22, 2022. Video produced by Charlee Guillaume and Katie Stanley.

Born in Lakeland, Florida, Clarke grew up attending the Rochelle School of arts and was playing multiple instruments by high school age.  Moving on to study music education at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee allowed Clarke to show his dedication and talents, which led him to head FAMU’s famed Gospel choir.

I love healthy expansion. So I’m definitely looking to expand, meet some new creatives, meet some new people who have some amazing things that can stretch my mind.
